A studio rooted in craft.
Founded in Mississauga in 2014 by a designer-builder partnership, Renov8 Homes works at the intersection of architecture, interior, and the careful craft of construction.

A studio drawn around the discipline of making.
Renov8 Homes was founded in 2014 on a shared conviction: that the discipline of drawing and the discipline of making are best held by a single team. We began with a small kitchen renovation in Port Credit and the belief that a house worth making is worth making slowly.
In the decade since, the studio has grown — quietly. We have remained a single studio, a single shop, and a small bench of trusted trades, working on a carefully held number of projects per year. We do not advertise; our clients arrive through quiet referral.
The work has not changed in spirit. We still draw every joint full-scale before it is made. We still visit every slab in person. We still believe a good house is a slow house.
Four principles, held quietly.
Craftsmanship
A standard of work that respects the materials and the people who will live with them. Drawn full-scale; prototyped before fabrication; finished by hand.
Discretion
Many of our clients are private. We do not publish what we are not invited to share, and we conduct every project with the quiet care that a private commission deserves.
Materiality
We work in stone, timber, and metal — materials that age into themselves rather than away from themselves. We do not chase trends.
Considered Detail
Every joint, reveal, and shadow line is drawn deliberately. The detail is the work; everything else is plan.
Where we work — Mississauga.
Our studio occupies a quiet corner of Mississauga — a working studio with drawing tables, a sample library, and a millwork shop. Visits are by appointment. We are based at 2425 Matheson Boulevard East, Suite 800, and we welcome conversation by phone or email.
Let us craft something extraordinary.
We accept a small number of new commissions each year. If you are considering a renovation in the GTA, we would be glad to hear about your home.
